A Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Bowl with Figural Landscape Decoration, Qianlong Mark.
A finely potted Chinese porcelain bowl of gently flared form, the exterior decorated in famille rose enamels with a continuous landscape scene depicting figures engaged in leisurely pursuits amidst rocky outcrops, flowering shrubs, and pine trees. The figures are rendered in lively tones of pink, yellow, green, and blue, with expressive detailing to garments and facial features.
The interior is covered in a soft turquoise glaze, creating a striking contrast with the exterior decoration. The base bears a blue six-character Qianlong mark within a recessed circular panel, surrounded by further figural decoration extending around the foot. The bowl is supported on a neatly finished foot rim with a yellow-ground band.
