A Chinese Yellow-Ground Famille Rose Porcelain ‘Dragon’ Bowl, Qianlong Mark.
A finely potted Chinese porcelain bowl of elegant, gently flared form, the exterior richly decorated on a vibrant yellow ground with a continuous design of green five-clawed dragons in animated pursuit amidst scrolling ruyi-shaped clouds and stylised flames. The dragons are rendered with detailed scales, expressive features, and dynamic movement, contrasting vividly against the crackled yellow ground.
The interior is glazed in a soft turquoise tone, providing a striking visual contrast to the exterior decoration. The base bears a blue six-character Qianlong mark within a recessed circular panel. The foot rim is neatly finished with a yellow-ground band and iron-red line.
