An Indian Bronze Figural Ritual Ladle.
Of elongated form, the ladle features a deep rounded bowl leading into a slender handle with moulded bands. The handle is richly cast with intricate openwork, terminating in a detailed figural finial depicting a seated figure surrounded by scrolling and stylised elements.
The junction of the bowl is elaborately decorated with dense foliate and geometric motifs, continuing along the handle.
