An Indian Carved Stone Stupa-Form Reliquary, Possibly Ancient.
The piece is carved in the form of a traditional stupa, composed of multiple stacked and graduated elements rising to a domed finial. Executed in a pale stone with natural mottled surface variation, the form features a rounded base, stepped circular plinth, and a central drum supporting a tiered square section surmounted by a bulbous knop and tapering finial.
The structure is articulated in separate sections, as visible in the disassembled view, comprising the base, central body, and upper finial element. Each section is smoothly carved with gently rounded edges and shallow moulded bands, giving the piece a balanced architectural profile.
