A Chinese ceramic model of a horse, modelled standing on a rectangular base with slender legs and an elongated body.
The horse features a stylised head with pronounced eyes, a slightly open mouth, and small horn-like protrusions, leading into a ridged spine and raised decorative elements along the back. The body is further detailed with applied nodules and flowing contours, terminating in a curled tail.
The figure is covered overall in a pale celadon glaze with a fine crackle pattern, pooling slightly in the recesses and accentuating the sculptural details.
