The composition features a single sinuous serpent coiled across the page in an elegant, flowing arrangement. Its body curves in a rhythmic, looping form, terminating in a raised head with an open mouth and extended tongue.
The surface of the serpent is decorated with a dense pattern of red floral motifs interspersed with small blue accents, set against a pale ground, creating a striking contrast with the surrounding space. Fine linear detailing defines the contours of the body, head, and scales, while the interior of the mouth is rendered in soft pink tones.
