Description
A Bactrian Stone Bead Necklace, Circa 2nd Millennium BC.
A striking Bactrian necklace composed of large, hand-carved stone beads in alternating forms and tones. The strand features substantial oval and rounded disc-shaped beads in rich earthy hues of russet, burnt orange, and brown, displaying natural banding and marbled surface patterns. These are interspersed with lighter buff-coloured elongated beads and smaller spacer elements, creating a rhythmic contrast in both colour and form.
L: Approximately 92cm
