A Chinese Famille Verte ‘Floral Scroll’ Bowl, Chenghua Mark.
A finely potted porcelain bowl of rounded form, rising from a short straight foot to a gently flared rim. The exterior is decorated in famille verte enamels with a continuous scrolling floral design, featuring stylised blossoms and leafy tendrils in tones of green, yellow, iron-red, and underglaze blue. The composition flows evenly around the body, creating a balanced and elegant decorative scheme.
The interior is plain, centred with a circular medallion enclosing a single stylised flower head surrounded by delicate scrolling foliage, echoing the exterior motif. The rim is bordered with double blue lines.
The base bears a six-character underglaze blue mark reading “Da Ming Chenghua Nian Zhi” (大明成化年製) within double circles.
