A Chinese Famille Jaune Porcelain Stem Cup with Floral Scroll Decoration.
A Chinese porcelain stem cup of elegant flared form, supported on a tall, spreading foot.
The exterior is richly decorated in famille jaune enamels with a vibrant yellow ground, densely filled with scrolling floral motifs and stylised foliage in tones of pink, green, blue, and white. The decoration is arranged symmetrically around the body, framed by bands of stylised cloud forms beneath the rim. The stem and foot continue the decorative scheme with complementary motifs in pink and turquoise panels.
The interior is covered in a turquoise glaze with a fine crackle effect, creating a striking contrast to the vivid exterior. The base bears a six-character mark in underglaze blue within a recessed panel.
