A Chinese Yellow-Ground Famille Rose Porcelain Reticulated Covered Jar with Figural Medallions, Qianlong Mark.
A Chinese porcelain covered jar of cylindrical form, raised on a shaped foot, the exterior richly decorated on a vibrant yellow ground with dense scrolling lotus and foliate motifs in famille rose enamels. The body is set with large circular panels enclosing figural scenes of children at play in a garden landscape, depicted in soft tones with fine detailing.
The domed cover is similarly decorated with floral scrollwork and features openwork reticulated sections, surmounted by a white-glazed knop. The pierced elements add depth and visual contrast to the brightly enamelled surface.
The base is finished with a turquoise-glazed interior and bears a blue six-character Qianlong mark within a recessed panel. The foot is neatly formed with a lobed edge highlighted in iron-red.
