A Chinese Famille Noire Dragon Dish with Central Medallion, Qianlong Seal Mark.
The dish of shallow circular form with a gently everted rim, the interior richly decorated against a dark ground with four green five-clawed dragons shown in dynamic pursuit amidst stylised clouds, flame motifs, and scrolling floral elements. At the centre is a circular medallion enclosing auspicious motifs rendered in bright enamels, surrounded by further decorative emblems arranged in a balanced composition.
The rim is neatly finished with a gilt band, enhancing the contrast of the vibrant enamel decoration. The reverse is plain, decorated with four iron-red bat motifs spaced evenly around the cavetto.
The base bears a blue six-character seal mark reading “大清乾隆年製” (Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi — “Made in the Qianlong period of the Great Qing Dynasty”).
