A Chinese Dragon-Decorated Bowl with Turquoise Interior, Qianlong Mark.
The bowl of elegant, flaring form rising from a short foot to a wide, gently everted rim, the exterior richly decorated with sinuous green dragons in dynamic pursuit amidst stylised clouds and flame motifs, all set against a deep dark ground. The dragons are finely detailed with expressive features and scaled bodies, animated in continuous movement around the body.
The rim is neatly defined with a thin gilt band, while the interior is finished in a striking turquoise tone with a fine crackled effect, creating a vivid contrast to the darker exterior.
