A Chinese Bronze Model of a Stylised Horse, 20th Century.
The horse cast in heavy bronze, standing foursquare on short, slightly splayed legs.
The head raised and alert, with an open mouth and small ears set behind a ridged mane running along the neck. The tail formed as a tight scroll, projecting from the rear. The surface is smooth and gently rounded throughout, with minimal detailing emphasising the sculptural mass and compact proportions.
