A Chinese Carved Spinach Green Jade Bowl, Possibly for Ottoman Market, 20th Century.
The bowl is carved from a dark spinach green jade with a slightly flared rim and rounded body, raised on a short circular foot. The exterior is decorated in low relief with scrolling foliate motifs centred by a stylised palmette form, while the lower register features a band of fluted lappets encircling the base.
