A Pair of Chinese Silver-Gilt and Enamel Earrings with Jade Plaques.
Each earring is formed as a suspended composition in silver with polychrome enamel decoration, featuring floral and foliate elements in vibrant tones of blue, green, turquoise, and orange. The upper sections are intricately modelled with layered enamelled motifs, leading down to a central element with raised detailing and contrasting colours. Suspended beneath is a carved pale jade plaque of circular scalloped form, each pierced and centred with the character Shuangxi (double happiness), rendered in openwork.
