A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Ewer with Floral and Foliage Motifs, Made for the Ottoman Market.
The ewer features a slender cylindrical neck with a flared spout and an arched handle, decorated with scrolling floral motifs in deep cobalt blue. The body is encircled by detailed depictions of large peony blossoms amid leafy branches, framed above by a border of lappets and below by a pointed petal band.
