A Chinese Gold Gilt-Bronze Tripod Censor, 19th Century.
Of flared cylindrical form, the bronze body is adorned with scattered irregular gold gilt splashes. The sides feature raised handles in the form of stylised mythical beast masks, and the piece is supported on three cabriole legs decorated with scrolling motifs.
