A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Bowl with Stylised Script Decoration, Kangxi Mark.
A Chinese porcelain bowl of rounded form, rising from a short, neatly formed foot to a gently flared rim, accented with double underglaze blue line borders.
The exterior is densely decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with continuous bands of stylised script-like motifs arranged in horizontal registers encircling the body. The characters are decorative rather than legible Arabic, rendered in a rhythmic, calligraphic manner that creates a striking visual pattern across the surface.
The underside reveals a recessed base bearing a four-character mark reading “Kangxi Nian Zhi” (康熙年製) within a rectangular panel.
