A Chinese Famille Rose Floral Dish with Turquoise Ground, Qianlong Mark.
A finely enamelled porcelain dish of shallow, rounded form with a gently flared rim. The interior is richly decorated in famille rose enamels with a central medallion set against a turquoise ground, filled with stylised floral sprays and scrolling foliage arranged in a symmetrical composition.
The cavetto is adorned with a pink-ground band featuring intricate floral and foliate motifs interspersed with stylised ornaments, bordered by a narrow gilt line. The rim is further embellished with a turquoise-ground border incorporating geometric key-fret patterns and scrolling designs, creating a vibrant and balanced palette of pink, turquoise, yellow, and soft enamel tones.
The exterior is predominantly white, decorated with iron-red stylised flame motifs spaced evenly around the body. The base is finished with a turquoise glaze and bears a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue reading “Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi” (大清乾隆年製), translating to “Made in the Qianlong period of the Great Qing Dynasty.”
