A Chinese Libation Cup with Mythical Beast Handles.
Of tapering form rising from a short circular foot to a gently flared rim, the exterior richly carved in high relief with intertwined mythical beasts emerging from scrolling foliage. The creatures are depicted with elongated bodies, curling tails, and expressive heads, wrapping dynamically around the vessel and forming sculptural handles to either side.
A band of stylised geometric key fret decorates the rim, while the body is further embellished with dense swirling motifs and archaistic patterns.
