A Chinese Jade Carving of a Recumbent Horse-Form Ornament.
Carved from a pale celadon jade of soft, even tone, the figure is modelled as a stylised recumbent horse with its legs tucked beneath the body and the head turned slightly to one side. The animal features a rounded muzzle, drilled eye, and a gently incised mane sweeping along the neck. The body is compact and smoothly contoured, with minimal yet effective detailing defining the limbs and musculature.
