A Complete Ottoman Scroll of the Qur’an, 20th Century.
A remarkable and visually elaborate Ottoman Qur’anic scroll, extending across a lengthy parchment in continuous horizontal format. Surah titles and divine invocations appear in striking red and blue thuluth script, interspersed with ornamental panels and symbolic architectural outlines such as the Kaaba and domed mosque.
