A Tibetan Skull-Form Ritual Vessel with Turquoise and Coral Hued Inlay.
A striking skull-form ritual vessel, constructed with a fitted domed cover, richly adorned in mounts and set throughout with cabochon turquoise and coral hued elements. The skull is rendered with deep-set eye sockets and a stylised nasal structure, framed by intricate filigree and beaded wirework borders.
The removable domed cover is elaborately decorated with repeating feather-like repoussé motifs, each centred with turquoise cabochons, interspersed with small red stone accents. A finial at the top is encircled by turquoise beads, completing the symmetrical design.
The sides of the cup are further embellished with applied panels featuring mixed stone inlay, including white and amber-toned elements, alongside scrolling decorative mounts. The overall composition is dense with ornamental detail, combining texture, colour, and layered metalwork.
