The bronze model cast in the form of a rhinoceros beetle, shown with elongated horn, segmented body, and finely modelled legs extending outward. The surface displays a warm brown tone with darker mottling across the body, accentuating the naturalistic detailing of the insect’s form.
The elytra open via a hinge to reveal a hollow interior, forming a discreet container.
