A Persian Brass Ewer and Basin Set with Engraved Decoration.
The set comprises a ewer of bulbous form with a tall, tapering neck, domed hinged lid, and a long curved spout, accompanied by a matching basin with a broad flared rim. Both pieces are richly decorated throughout with dense engraved scrolling vegetal and floral motifs, covering the surfaces in an intricate all-over pattern.
The ewer features a shaped handle with matching engraved detail and a faceted knop finial to the lid, while the body rests on a stepped foot. The basin mirrors the same decorative scheme, with a central raised section and pierced inner element surrounded by finely worked ornament.
